Wuxi Hengshui Machinery is an experienced OEM manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders for forging presses, hydraulic presses, extrusion presses, ring rolling machines, and isothermal forging systems. Our press and forging cylinders operate at the highest end of the pressure and bore-size spectrum — up to Ø800 mm bore and 350 bar working pressure — and are manufactured with the ultra-precise dimensional control that press applications demand.

Forging press cylinders must sustain millions of high-energy load cycles without fatigue or seal failure. We use premium alloy steels (42CrMo4, 34CrNiMo6), deep-hole boring to Ra 0.4 µm internal finish, hard chrome plated rods ground to h6 tolerance, and Polyurethane or FKM seals selected for the specific pressure and temperature profile of each press. All cylinders are proof-tested at 1.5× working pressure before despatch.

Open die forging press main cylinders

Very large bore hydraulic cylinders (Ø300–Ø800 mm) for open die forging presses from 500 T to 10,000 T. Multiple cylinder assemblies, synchronised control.

Closed die / impression die forging

High-precision cylinders for closed die forging. Stroke repeatability within ±0.1 mm. Servo-hydraulic control interfaces available.

Isothermal forging press cylinders

FKM-sealed cylinders for forging titanium, nickel superalloys, and aluminium alloys in heated dies (up to 950°C die temperature). Thermal isolation of cylinder from die essential.

Aluminium / copper extrusion press

Very large bore (Ø400–Ø800 mm), high-force cylinders for aluminium and copper extrusion. Bore-to-pressure matching critical for energy efficiency.

Ring rolling machine cylinders
