Wuxi Hengshui Machinery manufactures hydraulic cylinders for all segments of the mining industry: underground coal mining (powered roof support, longwall shields, hydraulic props), hard rock mining (roof bolters, drill jumbos, roadheaders, raise borers), surface mining (dragline, shovel, truck body hoist), and mineral processing (crusher feed, screen tensioner, thickener drive).
Mining hydraulic cylinders operate in environments combining very high contamination (coal dust, mine water, rock particles), extreme load cycles, and safety-critical application requirements. We design dust-resistant multi-lip wiper assemblies, select corrosion-resistant internal finishes, specify appropriate chrome plating thickness for the expected operating life, and apply pressure-relief features where required by mining safety standards. All cylinders are 100% hydrostatic pressure tested.
Powered roof support (PRS) / longwall shield
Leg cylinders and base lift cylinders for hydraulic powered roof support units in longwall coal mining. Very high cycle life required — often 20,000+ yield-load cycles per set.
Hydraulic pit prop / single prop
Lightweight, high-strength hydraulic props for temporary roof support in development headings. Bore Ø80–Ø150 mm; working pressure 31.5–50 MPa.
Rock bolt drilling and installation rigs
Cylinders for roof bolter feed, rotation, and indexing on underground rock bolt drilling rigs. Compact, high-force design essential for confined headings.
