Wuxi Hengshui Machinery Co., Ltd. is a specialist manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders for the metallurgical industry. Our cylinders operate at the heart of iron and steel production — from blast furnace charging and continuous casting through to rolling mill stands, ladle handling, and pickling line tensioners. Every metallurgical hydraulic cylinder we produce is engineered to customer drawings or specifications, with no fixed catalogue designs.

Metallurgical applications impose some of the most demanding conditions in heavy industry: extreme ambient temperatures, millscale and coolant contamination, vibration, shock loading, and the need for absolute reliability in a continuous production environment. Our engineering team selects materials, seal compounds, surface treatments, and cylinder geometry specifically to match each application.

Precise bore-to-force control for 4-high and 6-high rolling mill stands; chrome-plated rods and Merkel seals for long seal life in coolant-contaminated environments.

Continuous casting withdrawal & straightening units

Long-stroke cylinders for withdrawal roll gap adjustment, strand guidance, and segment clamping in slab, billet, and bloom casters. High-cycle duty.

AOD converter tilting cylinders

Large-bore, short-stroke cylinders for Argon Oxygen Decarburisation converters. Must withstand extreme radiated heat and furnace vibration.

Ladle turret slewing & lifting cylinders

Precision cylinders for ladle turret rotation, ladle lifting, and slide gate actuation. Temperature and spatter resistance essential.
