The Tire Machinery Upper Ring Cylinder 100/55-1100 100/55-1100 is specifically designed for tire and rubber vulcanizing press applications. High-temperature seal materials and precision bore geometry maintain consistent clamping force throughout extended cure cycles. Available with position sensing provisions and customised port configurations. Bore diameter Ø100mm, piston rod diameter Ø55mm, stroke 1100mm. Materials: barrel — seamless honed steel tube; piston rod — 45# or 40Cr alloy steel, induction hardened Ø0.03-0.05mm oversize then hard chrome plated to Ra≤0.4μm; seals — Parker (USA) or Merkel (Germany) standard. All cylinders are hydraulically pressure-tested before dispatch. Custom bore, stroke, mounting, port position and surface treatment available on request.
